ARMSTRONG, Don (Donny) Beloved husband, father and PaPa went to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at his residence, age 54 years. The son of Donald and Julia (LeRoux) Armstrong was born on May 31, 1957 in Saginaw. Don retired from General Motors in 2009. He was a member of Hopevale Church. He married Jean Obuchowski on June 25, 1977. She survives him. Also surviving are two sons, Brian (Jesse) Armstrong of Ortonville and Josh Armstrong of Saginaw; two grandchildren: Hailee Hamilton and Cole Armstrong; his mother Julia Armstrong; mother-in-law, Louise Obuchowski; five brothers and one sister: Tom (Laura) Armstrong of Owosso, Steve (Jeannie) Armstrong, Matt Armstrong and Mike Armstrong all of Grand Rapids, Greg (Maggie) Armstrong of Las Vegas and Carol (John) Beckert of St. Charles; five sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law: Diane Rhodes of Macomb, Cheryl (Gary) Geese of Carrolton, Linda LaPan, Janet Obuchowski, Judy (Mark) Tucker and Robert Obuchowski all of Saginaw; dear friends, Kal and Carol Karp of Saginaw; many nephews and nieces. Don was preceded in death by his father, Donald Armstrong; father-in-law, Robert Obuchowski; brothers-in-law: Ken LaPan and Ken Rhodes.

FUNERAL: A funeral service for Don will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 3, 2012 at Hopevale Church, 4873 N. Center Rd., Saginaw. Rev. Dan Davis will officiate. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd., (off State) on Thursday, February 2, 2012 from 2:00 until 9:00 p.m. and at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
