BORCHARD, Sharon M. (Sherrie), beloved
sister, special aunt, cherished teacher and devoted friend, went to be with her
Lord and Savior on Friday, June 18, 2010. She was 64 years old. Sherrie was
born June 29, 1945, in Saginaw to the late Roy and Pearl (Burnett) Borchard. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School in
1963, Central Michigan University in 1967, and received her Masters Degree from
Central Michigan in 1974. She taught kindergarten at Edith Baillie Elementary
for 30 years, retiring in 1997. Sherrie leaves her brother, Gary (Donna) Borchard and their children: Harry Stevenson, Matthew,
Brandon, Roy, Rebecca and Kyle Borchard; a special
uncle, Bill Burnett,
Florida; special cousins, Roger and Nancy Borchard,
Saginaw, Terry and Marg Brennan, Virginia, and
Flossie Adams, Midland and their families.
Sherrie was a blessing to many friends and an active member of the Alpha Delta Kappa Sorority; the Central Michigan University Gals; the 7:30 a.m. Curves group; and her Card Club. She enjoyed collecting antiques and operated a booth at the Antique Warehouse.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: According to SherrieŐs wishes cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Pastor Michael Hahn will officiate.
VISITATION: Friends may call at the Deisler Funeral Home on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.
