DESHONE, Norene E. of Saginaw, MI, passed away January 26, 2012 at St. Mary of Michigan. She was 83 years old. Norene Elizabeth Grabmeyer was born June 05, 1928 to the late Leo A. and Dorothy (Best) Grabmeyer. She was married to Robert R. DeShone on March 31, 1951 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Saginaw. He preceded her in death in 2010. Norene was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church. She had been employed by the Saginaw County Commission on Aging until her retirement. Norene enjoyed traveling with her husband Robert to New Port Richey Florida to escape the cold weather. Norene is survived by four sons and one daughter: Craig (Dawn) DeShone, Saginaw, Brian (Brenda) of Sterling, Steven (Cynthia) of Marquette, Ellen (Ron) Myers of Midland, James (Judy) of Las Vegas, N.V.; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; her brother, Robert Grabmeyer and her sister-in-law, Mary Grabmeyer. She was preceded in death by her sister: Suzanne C. Fitzpatrick and two brothers: Leo J. Grabmeyer and Thomas W. Grabmeyer.

FUNERAL: Norene’s Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 3, 2012, at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2445 N. Charles St. Rev. Fr. Ronald Wagner will officiate with burial in St. Andrews Cemetery.

VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit at the church on Saturday, March 3, 2012 from 9:00 A.M. until the time of Norene’s Funeral.
