Jereb, Rudolph, a son given by the Lord to Joseph and Anna Jereb on December 18, 1921, died in his home Monday
afternoon, January 23, 2012 following a period of declining strength and
health. In the days prior to his passing he had expressed to his family members
his desire to have his suffering be over and to depart and be with the Lord. On
June 2, 1945 he was married to Doris Siegle who
survives along with his daughter, Barbara Resler and
her husband, Richard; grandson, Richard (Tracie) Resler
Jr. and their son, Greyson Resler;
granddaughter, Erin (John) Galsterer and their sons:
Owen and Alexander Galsterer; his sister, Josephine
Pollock.
Rudy, also known as Grandpa or
Papa J. by his loved ones, enjoyed working with stained glass, the sport of
Golf and his family. Rudy served in the Air Force during World War II from
1943-1946. Rudy will be greatly missed by his family.
According to Rudy’s wishes
cremation has taken place and the family with be having a private Memorial
Service at a later date. In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of
sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Disabled American Veterans,
Genesee Chapter 3, 4270 East Bristol Road Burton, MI 48519. Arrangements have
been entrusted to the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State).
