If your loved one is on Hospice, call you Hospice provider first. They will come to the home to pronounce the patient. The nurse will then call the funeral home to make arrangements to have the deceased removed from the home. When the funeral home arrives at the home, the staff will set a time for the family to come and make arrangements for the deceased.
