Donald J. Rigda

Don has been a part of the Deisler Funeral Home family since 1993. Born in Saginaw and raised in the Shields area, he currently resides in Freeland. He is a 1988 graduate of Swan Valley High School. Upon graduation, Don attended Ferris State University to study Biology, transferring to Wayne State University in 1992. He graduated from Wayne State University College of Mortuary Science in September 1993 and began to serve his apprenticeship at Deisler Funeral Home. Don has been licensed since 1995. Don and his wife Kathryn have been married since May 17, 2003, and have two beautiful daughters, Emily and Gwen. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, bow hunting, traveling and camping. He is of the Catholic faith and a member of the Michigan Funeral Directors Association.
