Beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, Christine M. Palaghe passed away on Friday morning, May 23, 2025, at Covenant Cooper in Saginaw. She was 62 years old.
Christine Marie Cassio was born on September 22, 1962, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Allen “Joe” and Donna (Meininger) Cassio. A 1980 graduate of Douglas MacArthur High School, Christine went on to build a fulfilling career as a medical biller, retiring after 20 years of dedicated service.
On July 21, 1984, Christine married the love of her life, Jeffery Palaghe, at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Saginaw. Together, they built a life full of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Christine had a zest for life and a kind, generous spirit. She loved spending time outdoors camping, attending concerts, reading, watching her favorite TV shows, and cheering on her favorite drivers at NASCAR races. Above all, Christine adored her dogs, who brought her immense joy and companionship.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jeffery Palaghe; her son, Dustin (Liberty) Palaghe; her parents, Joe and Donna Cassio; her mother-in-law, Sharon Palaghe; her sister, Paris (James) Bringer; sister in-law, Kristie (Robert) Palaghe-Hohn; brother in-law, Steven Palaghe. Christine also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews, extended family members, and friends whose lives were touched by her warmth and kindness.
Christine was preceded in death by her sister, Roxanne Cassio; her brother, Todd Cassio; and her father-in-law, Lyle Palaghe.
She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 5376 State Street, Saginaw, MI 48603 on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
FUNERAL SERVICE: A Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 5376 State Street, Saginaw, MI 48603. Rev. Fr. Steven M. Gavit will officiate.
