Hernandez, Mark Joseph

Saginaw, Michigan

Born on September 20, 1962 in Saginaw, Michigan. Mark was a very hard worker and an impressive, dedicated salesman for many years selling cars and shoes from Detroit, MI to Phoenix, AZ, to Las Vegas, NV. He had a love for music, including rock and the oldies. Mark enjoyed the time and many years he spent living with his sister, Frances and the Ledesma girls with whom he shared a special bond. He will be remembered by his contagious laugh and boisterous presence.

Our sweet, kind, outgoing brother, uncle, and friend gained his wings on Saturday, March 29, 2025. Our angel is now soaring the heavens above with his dearest late beloved grandmother, Frances; father, Alejandro; mother, Stella; sister, Diana; brother, Alex; sister, Frances; brothers in-law, Henry DeLaCruz, Henry Ledesma Jr., and Frank Ayala; nephews, Henry Ledesma III and Alex Rodriguez, and all of our truly missed loved ones.

Leaving behind his sister, Jeanne; sister in-law, Julia; Aunt Josie; many nieces and nephews and two special nieces, Angie and Ciera.

FUNERAL SERVICE: A Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 910 N. 6th Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48601. Rev. Fr. Francis Voris OFM Cap will officiate. Inurnment will take place at St. Andrew Cemetery immediately following the service.

VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Monday, April 7, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Pastor Augustine Delgado will lead a Prayer Service at the funeral home at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will continue at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.

I remember mark as a little boy always a sharp dresser with his beautiful smile. As a little boy I remember him as a very Happy boy curious too lol. Now your in heaven with many of the family members who have crossed over. I didn't know you as the young man but I'm sure you kept your style going. RIP SWEET BOY "

Mark and us friends from 21st street would hang out and play basketball. The thing i remember most was around 1975, not sure of exact year. Mark, and I, and other friends from the neighborhood were picking cucumbers to earn a little money. We were riding the tractor somewhere when Mark got hurt. 2 of us ran to a nearby house to call his mom to tell her what happened and that he was on the way to the hospital.
