I didn't know Mr. Brasseur personally, but as a customer of his, I thought he was the best. His knowledge of, and advice offered, about model railroading was invaluable to me. In addition, I especially appreciated being invited to look at the railroad treasures on the second floor of his store. God bless him and his family.

In my years being so close to Dean, Katie, and their children , and feeling like we were all family , I found a friend in Bob. Once we connected , Bob shared with me his admiration for my father Vern in which they both worked together and retired from Steering Gear. Aside from gatherings, I always found time to visit him at the train shop bringing along my kids and grandkids. Some visits I’d just come by to sit on the bench in the store with Bob having some laughs , talking Saginaw history, and pondering life. I’m fortunate to have had the gift of his friendship.
