Our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and dear friend passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital in Royal Oak. He was 66 years old. Mark Timothy Corcoran was born on December 30, 1958 in Saginaw to Michael and Margaret (Smith) Corcoran. Mark was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School, Class of 1977. He met Mary Ferguson through friends, and they were married at St. Mary Cathedral in Saginaw on April 15, 1989. As a young man he worked for Bay Glass, Koerts Glass and then went on to own and operate Liberty Glass and Glazing in Burton. He dedicated over 40 years of hard work to the glass industry.

Outside of his professional life, Mark enjoyed hobbies such as wood working, playing the banjo and guitar, and camping with his family. He was also a dedicated University of Michigan fan, celebrating the Wolverines in all their sports. Mark cherished spending time with his loved ones and creating lasting memories.

Mark is survived by his wife, Mary; his children: Marshall (Kara) Corcoran, Monica (Chase) Benson and Michaella (Daniel) Mendolia; and his amazing grandkids: Lincoln, Bryson, Evangeline, Margaret and one more expected in August of 2025; brothers: Michael (June) Corcoran and Matthew (Terri) Corcoran; sister, Denise Montrose; mother-in-law, MaryAnn Ferguson; many nieces, nephews, extended family, wonderful co-workers and dear friends.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents: Michael Corcoran and Margaret Corcoran; father-in-law, William Ferguson.

FUNERAL: A service to celebrate Mark's life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) Saginaw, MI 48603. Mark's brother-in-law, Rev. Fr. Timothy Ferguson will officiate. Family and friends are welcome to gather at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.

In keeping with Mark's wishes, the family requests visitors wear U of M colors and attire.

Mark and I enjoyed listening to Elton John’s “Funeral for a friend”on Mike’s stereo with the lights off and the volume up. Mark sold clothes at a store at the mall and was color blind, he was a fun guy, sorry for your loss
