Loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at her residence. She was 98 years old. Dorothy Loraine Daubert was born on October 8, 1926 in Saginaw, Michigan to Phil and Mary (Clause) Daubert. She married Roy McCollum in 1944 in New Jersey. Dorothy loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping and fishing. She was an excellent baker and enjoyed cooking for others. Above all, she really loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are her grandchildren, Randall (Nancy) McCollum, Matthew McCollum, Kelly (Dwayne) Honeman, Tammy McCollum, and Mary Jane McCollum; great-grandchildren, Nicholas (Tonya) McCollum, Kimberly (Adam) Deming, Nicole (Barry) Smith, Kara Peckham, Ireland Sauve, and Ronni Kay (Miguel) Cook; great-great grandchildren, Autumn, Oliver, Eli, and Emma; siblings, Betty Thompson, Roy Belill, and many nieces and nephews.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Roy McCollum; two sons, Ronald and Gerald McCollum; parents, Phil and Mary Daubert; siblings, Adam Daubert, Phil Daubert, Joe Daubert, Bob Daubert, Butch Belill and Annie Daubert.
FUNERAL SERVICE: A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Road, Saginaw, MI 48603. Reverend Ted McCulloch will officiate. A Committal service will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Thursday, February 6, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
