Our beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, Tia and cousin passed away into the arms of our Lord on Thanksgiving morning, November 28, 2024. She was 18 years old. Nadia Angelique Hernandez was born in Pontiac, Michigan on September 8, 2006 to Diana Faith Hernandez and Angel Garza Briceno. She attended Heritage High School and wanted to attend college for Nursing. Nadia loved attending basketball games, skateboarding, art and most importantly her family. She loved to worship her Lord with her faith family at Harvest Assembly of God. Nadia could light up the room as soon as she walked through the door. She loved so many and was loved by so many more. She had an energy that with even just one encounter with her, you would remember her for life. She loved sharing laughs with her close family and friends. Nadia was such a beautiful, strong, inspiring warrior who will forever be missed and in our hearts.
Nadia is survived by her mother and step-father, Diana Faith Hernandez (Charles) Gonzales; father, Angel Garza Briceno; siblings: Trinity J. Gone, Bella Davis and David Davis; her favorite niece, Mariana Carattini; grandparents: Elvia Lilly Gutierrez and Maria Guadalupe Garza; her dear boyfriend, Tony Rivers; her Tia, Tanya (Jesse) Ball; cousins: Christian and Brendan Ball and many additional aunts, uncles, extended family and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Antonio Noel Hernandez Rivers; grandfathers: Noel P. Hernandez and Francisco Briceno.
FUNERAL: A funeral service for Nadia will take place at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) Saginaw, MI 48603. Pastor Santino Cardinalli will officiate. Cremation will follow the funeral service.
VISITATION: Friends and family are welcome to visit at the Deisler Funeral Home, on Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
