Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and dear friend passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Covenant HealthCare – Harrison. She was 55 years old. Michelle Rose Mayotte was born on December 9, 1968 in Saginaw to Sharron (Vincent) and Norman Mayotte.

Michelle was an avid fan of the Detroit Lions and spent Sunday's watching the games with her family. Michelle loved taking walks on wilderness trails with her daughter, she also enjoyed playing ball outside with her dog, Groot.

Michelle is survived by her husband, Melvin J. Doran; children: Tara Sykes, Cassandra Doran, James Doran, and Christopher Doran; many grandchildren; her mom: Sharon Fenn; siblings: Camille (Brad) Doran, Richard (Julie) Mayotte, John Mayotte and Mary Bennett; sisters-in-law: Denise Wheeler, Carol Doran and Michelle R. (Dane Walters) Doran, many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

Michelle was preceded in death by her son, Tyler John Mayotte; daughter, Rachel Burnham; father, Norman J. Mayotte; step-father, James Fenn; and sister, Jane Mayotte.

In keeping with Michelle's wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will privately celebrate her life. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a donation to American Cancer Society.

My sister and I have Always been close.She came to stay with me when she was around 14yrs.I had a transam and she asked me to teach her to drive.We went down the road ok but coming back I told her to slow down she asked her to slow down before turning the corner I said step on the brake easy she hit the gas instead and we ended up in the ditch.Luckily we were ok.

This was one of the last times I spent with my mom . We had some of the best talks in the hospital , mostly about the zombie apocalypse, or ghosts . Mom was huge into paranormal things and she would tell me that she knew the hospital was haunted . When I’d visit her , I’d make her share her hospital bed (I had just gotten out of work) and we’d lay there talking and watching television. We just spent time together … that’s what meant the most to me , spending time with my mom and cherishing the time that I had with her . ❤️

We never spent time apart , if not together in person we all talked on the phone laughing and just being goofy the memories I cherish, driving into Michigan to come get you girls and seeing you guys standing there jumping up and down and laughing as we whipped around your corner , how sad the ride back felt to drop you guys off with a simple we will see you again , after our last trip we did not get to see each other again and I sure wish we did , I wish I’d have just put gas in and drove to Michigan one more time whether to see you at home or in the hospital I will hold you close to my heart for the rest of my life
