Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at Close To Home Assisted Living – Saginaw. He was 78 years old. Thomas Michael McKenna was born on October 16, 1945, in Saginaw to the late Paul and Hildegarde (Rudell) McKenna. Tom graduated from Arthur Hill High School and he then earned his Bachelor's Degree from Central Michigan University. Tom enjoyed his career selling shoes at JCPenney and throughout Saginaw.
Tom is survived by a nephew, Michael P. (Tamara) Warzecha; dear friends, Chuck and Janice Jones and their children, Kellie (Michael) Johnson and Kristie (Scott Fauver) Jones, who will mourn his passing.
He is now reunited with those that preceded him in death: his parents; sister, Mary Jane Warzecha; brother, Ronald Paul McKenna; an infant sister; and nephew, Anthony Warzecha.
SERVICE: A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) Saginaw, MI 48603. Rev. Fr. Steve Gavit will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Andrew Cemetery.
VISITATION: Family and friends are welcome to gather at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 noon.
