Beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024 at Covenant Healthcare in Saginaw. He was 72 years old. Dale Michael Glover was born on July 14, 1952 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late William and Beulah (Craig) Glover. He attended Arthur Hill High School graduating in 1970 and continued his education at Delta College and Northwood University. He was employed by Kessel Enterprises as a Store Manager, retiring in 2017 after over 40 years of dedicated service. Dale was a member of St. John's Lutheran and later Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Saginaw, he was a religious man. He was also a member of the Pontiac Oakland Club for many years.
He loved classic cars, attending car shows, collecting artwork, and building model cars. Dale also enjoyed looking for treasures at estate sales, spending time at his cottage in Cadillac on Lake Mitchell, and having a cold Bud Light. He was very proud of his English Heritage. Dale will be remembered by those that knew him as being jovial, always joking around, having fun, and laughing. He always took care of others and his loved one's graves. Dale also enjoyed gardening and growing beautiful flowers. He never missed anyone's birthday and always made sure he sent them a card. Above all, Dale really loved spending time with his grandson Kaidyn and his cat, Snickers.
Surviving is one son, Scott Glover; grandchildren, Kaidyn Klosowski, Noah Glover, and Hannah Glover; one great-grandchild on the way, Avery Klosowski; siblings, Craig Glover and William Glover III; longtime best friend, Don VanSteenkiste and many nieces and nephews.
Dale was preceded in death by his daughter, Jill Glover and his brother Wayne Glover.
FUNERAL SERVICE: A Funeral Service will take place at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Rev. John Soyster will officiate. Committal service to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and will continue on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
