Aunt Jane was kind enough to open her home to me when my family moved to Alabama. She was always smiling and enjoyed a good time. She and her family were also great caretakers to my Grandma Mooney. Many fond memories. Love, Barbara Mooney

I met Jane when I started at Fuerbringer Elementary School. She was the first-grade teacher, and I was a teacher of the Deaf/hard of hearing. She provided such warmth and kindness to the children she taught, their families, staff, and everyone she knew. Her positive attitude was always present, and she made things seem easy when, in reality, they were difficult. She was always so proud of her children and grandchildren and often shared their accomplishments and happenings! It was a privilege to know Jane and I can only imagine how her family will miss her—sending hugs and prayers! RIP Mrs. Ryan!

Jane was a great friend and neighbor to my parents, Joe and Marguerite Whitney. They kept tabs on each other and the neighborhood. After my father's passing, she made sure my mom was OK and took her Grocery shopping as my mom never drove. She will be missed by all wo knew her.
