Obituary

Charles Leroy LaFramboise, age 84 passed away, Friday, August 23,2024 at Saginaw Senior Care & Rehab Center, Saginaw, MI. He was born on November 19, 1939 in Saginaw, MI the son of the late Charles Leon and Madeline (Stelter) LaFramboise. Charlie honorably served on the USS Bonhomme Richard in the United States Navy. He was united in marriage to the former Alvida “Sue” Shuster on July 25, 1964 at. St. Mary's Cathedral in Saginaw, MI; she survives him.

Charlie enjoyed running, traveling, playing cards, hunting, an avid reader and restoring old cars. He will always be known for his handyman skills. Charlie also enjoyed making his special wine. Charlie was a member of New Life Saginaw, where he served in many facets. Charlie accepted the Lord Jesus Christ back in his early thirties. He dedicated his life to serving the Lord and his church. Charlie retired from General Motors in 1992 after nearly 30 loyal years.

Charlie is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Sue; sister; Marsha Gunlock and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by five siblings.

FUNERAL: A Memorial Service for Charlie will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2024 at 11:00 am at New Life Saginaw, 6115 Shattuck Rd. Saginaw, MI 48603. Pastors Ken Cline and Jeff Ralph to officiate.

VISITATION: Family and friends, are welcome to gather at the church on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2024 at 9:30 am until the time of service.

MEMORIALS: In Lieu of flowers, those planning a memorial contribution are asked to consider New Life Pray Park.

Sue, we have so many good memories of time spent together. Our trip to the "Big Apple" to see what New York was all about was so much fun. And of course Ollie @ SVSU.

I Always loved going to Uncle Chuck and Aunt Sue's House growing up. Hanging out with them, we would walk the yard and pick berries, swing on the big swing. I would love seeing his cool old school car in the garage! He always gave the BEST hugs and squeezed extra tight! I used to love when he would be out and about and stop to see us and have coffee with my parents. He was such a goofball too!
