Hasse, Sharon Gladys age 67 passed away June 5, 2024 with her family by her side. Sharon was born on November 22, 1956 in Saginaw, Michigan the daughter of the late Walter and Delores (Voit) Newsome. Sharon was united in marriage to Doug Hasse on August 8, 1981 in Saginaw, Michigan; he survives her.

Sharon was a member of Wagarville Community Christian Church; where she was very involved with the nursery and various ministries within the church. She also volunteered at various churches; helping hand out food commodities to those in need. Sharon enjoyed walking, camping, biking, reading, crafts and watching birds; she especially enjoyed going to her fitness club.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 43 years; Doug, children; Amy (Philip) Littlejohn, Carey, Ohio, Joy (Kevin) Andrews, Windsor, Ontario, Jeremy (Carrie) Hasse Dorr, MI and Jennifer (Dean) Meisel of Saginaw, MI, 12 grandchildren; Jordan, Austin, Tyler, and Meghan Littlejohn, Emily (Braeden) Braccio, Nathan and Luke Andrews, Abigail, Grace and Sydney Hasse and Logan and Brynn Meisel, 3 great-grandchildren; James, Leo and Marvin Braccio, brothers; James (Lori) Newsome, Greg Newsome and Randall (Debbie) Newsome and sister; Judith Whitaker. Besides her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by a grand-daughter; Faith Meisel.

FUNERAL: A Celebration of Life Service for Sharon will take place on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from Aldergate Church Cardinal Square, 6030 Bay Rd., Saginaw, MI 48604 with Pastor Philip Littlejohn to officiate.

VISITATION: Family and friends are welcome to gather at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State St.) on Monday, June 10, 2024 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. and again Tuesday morning at the church at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.

MEMORIALS: Those planning a memorial contribution are asked to consider the Lung Cancer Association.

I enjoyed Sharon when she came to Senior Fitness Health Club for her work out faithfully, she was loved very dearly by all of our members, we would celebrate a lot of holidays and give prizes away and she was a winner at times she always had a great smile and enjoyed talking of her family and she enjoyed her Senior Fitness Health Club Family here she kept in touch with us during her illness and we were all very sad to here of her passing she will be missed at the club Sincerely Alice Wilson Owner
