Mac helped welcome us to the neighborhood over 16 years ago. He always had a smile on his face. He would wave to us as he drove to McDonalds to get his coffee. He was like a grandfather to our children who didn't have grandparents in the area. We are thankful for his friendship and his service for our country.

My sincere condolences to the Hamather family.
I met Mac years ago at Hoyt Nursing Home when Natalie and my husband Al Wilson were residents..
Mac was so kind and we had great visits .
May he rest in peace.
With my warmest regards, Pat Wilson

Sorry to hear of your dad’s passing, he was quite the guy! My dad’s oldest friend from childhood my sister and I literally knew Mac (Mac& Nat) all of our lives. I have fond memories of snowmobiling with Mac, Peter my dad and myself. Was something I always looked forward to, still can see Mac driving that orange Blazer. Part of the greatest generation, he will be missed by many.
