Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and dear friend passed away peacefully at his home on December 21, 2023, having just celebrated his 81st birthday. Eric Clark Stamann was born on December 14, 1942 in Bay City, Michigan to George and Lydia (Prechel) Stamann. He married the love of his life, Rosemary Fournier on December 13, 1963 in Saginaw, and they celebrated 60 wonderful years together. Eric was self-employed, delivering milk and dairy products for over 40 years.
He loved working outside and kept a tidy and beautiful yard. Eric enjoyed tinkering in the garage, working on cars, and telling stories of his past. He will be remembered for always being social, generous, and willing to help his fellow neighbors. Eric was known for being organized, particular, and honest. He was the life of the party, always putting a smile on someone's face or filling a room with laughter. Eric was a lover of all animals especially dogs. But above all, he loved spending time with his family.
Eric is survived by his wife, Rosemary; children, Julie Southworth and James (Connie) Stamann; two grandchildren, Steve Southworth and Chad Southworth; one great-grandchild, Nathan Southworth; siblings, Frederick (JoAnn) Stamann, Ivalene Kellett, Charles (Joanne) Stamann, and many nieces and nephews.
Eric was preceded in death by his parents, George and Lydia; brothers, George J. Stamann and Richard Stamann.
In keeping with Eric's wishes, cremation has taken place. Eric's family is planning a Private Memorial Service for a later date.
