Beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Hoyt Nursing and Rehab Centre in Saginaw. He was 71 years old. Gary Wayne Minard was born on June 22, 1952 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Harold and Bernedice (Creed) Minard. He married Carmen Park on September 24, 1972 in Saginaw, Michigan. Gary attended Arthur Hill High School graduating in 1970 and continued his education at Delta College, earning an Associate Degree in business administration. Gary was employed as a Country Club Manager for the Bay City Country Club, Germania Club, and the Saginaw Country Club, retiring after 35 years of service. He was a member of the Club Managers Association of America and the Saginaw Bowling Association for many years. He was 17 years old when he bowled his first 300 game and was inducted into the Saginaw Bowling Hall of Fame.

Gary loved bowling, golfing, and fishing. He also loved watching and attending University of Michigan sporting events. He was an avid walker and enjoyed going for long walks. But, what Gary loved most was spending time with his family and attending his grandchildren's sporting events.

Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Carmen Minard; children, Lindy (Craig) Baldwin and Melissa (Ken) Hall; grandchildren, David (fiancé Megan Graham) Baldwin, Cate Baldwin, Elise Hall, and Matthew Hall and extended family.

Gary was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Minard.

In keeping with Gary's wishes, cremation has taken place. The Minard family is planning a private celebration of life at a later date.

Gary's family would like to thank the staff at Hoyt Nursing and Rehab Centre for the wonderful and compassionate care they provided to Gary.

Gary was our neighbor on Trier Street and we were schoolmates. My brother, Mike, and I have fond memories of Gary growing up. Later we had wonderful encounters with him when he was the manager of the Germania and then the Saginaw Country Club. He always greeted us with a smile and then we would discuss how proud he was of his family. We met Gary when he was the manager at Germania. He always had a warm smile and a friendly hello. We had multiple weddings and events that Gary made sure went well. We will miss Gary and pray for his family at this time of grief. The Miller Family
