Charles Kleinbriel

Charles Kleinbriel, beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Autumnwood of Deckerville. He was 85 years old. Chuck was born September 26, 1937 in Saginaw, son of the late Henry and Emily (Snyder) Kleinbriel. He attended Saginaw schools, graduating from Arthur Hill High School. In 1961 Chuck was drafted into the United Sates Army serving in Germany. Shortly before his deployment, he married the former Ann Kirkpatrick and they spent 62 years together. Chuck worked for Chapman's Beverages until the company was sold. He then became a security courier for Second National Bank until his retirement.

Chuck enjoyed fishing, especially while at the family cottage on Coldwater Lake. He was also a gardener and conservationist, cultivating plants of all varieties. Chuck had a fondness for Springer Spaniels, having had several throughout the years. He was a military history buff who enjoyed reading about and watching numerous documentaries on the subject. Chuck was also a railroad enthusiast with a vast collection of memorabilia and a model train that was the envy of others in his railroad club.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Ann Kleinbriel; son, Michael (Angel) Kleinbriel; grandsons, Michael Kleinbriel Jr. and Jack Kleinbriel; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Randall Kleinbriel and his two sisters.

FUNERAL: Funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 17, 2023 from Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Road (off State). Reverend Ted McCulloch will officiate with burial to follow in Oakwood Cemetery.

VISITATION: Family and friends may gather at Deisler Funeral Home on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
