Jesse Ledesma

Jesse Ledesma “Lil Jess”passed away at his home Wednesday, June 14, 2023, age 67. He was born November 11, 1956 in Saginaw, son of the late Henry Sr. and Mary Jane (Chingman) Ledesma.

Jesse grew up in Saginaw until he decided to move to Texas. He loved being busy and active which made working construction enjoyable for him. Jesse worked construction until 2007 when he had an accident leaving him unable to work. For fun, he enjoyed dancing. He was also a great story teller and loved to talk to people. More than anything, he loved his family and he will be dearly missed.

Jesse is survived by his son, Jesse Ledesma Jr.; grandson; Tristan Ledesma; sister, Mary Jane (Pete) Cuevas; nieces, Dominga Ledesma, Rachel Ledesma, Tina Ledesma, Angela Ledesma, Erica Ledesma; nephews Antonio Ledesma, Arnulfo Ledesma; and many great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Jesse was preceded in death by his brother, Henry Ledesma Jr. and niece Michelle Ledesma.

FUNERAL: A memorials service will take place at 11 a.m. Friday August 4, 2023 from St. Joseph Catholic Church, 910 North 6th Avenue. Father Frank Voris O.F.M. Cap. will officiate.

VISITATION: Friends and family may gather at the church on Friday, August 4, 2023 from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

MEMORIALS: Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Jesse's family through the care of his sister, Mary Cuevas.
