Petty, Rosalie Kay age 72 passed away February 1, 2023 at her home in Hemlock, Michigan. Rosalie was born on February 24, 1950 in Scottsburg, Indiana the daughter of Russell and Helen (Rezac) Petty. She graduated from New Albany High School class of 1968 and then continued her education at Indiana University graduating in 1972 with a BSN degree. Rosalie was employed by the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky after graduation, as a RN for 17 years and then moved to Saginaw, Michigan where she continued her career in nursing. Finally retiring in 2013 after 40 years of service.
Rosalie was a member of Beacon of Hope Church, Saginaw, Michigan. She enjoyed her church, sports and time with her friends. Rosalie also had a great love for animals.
Rosalie is survived by her sister; Linda Petty of Louisville, KY and many cousins. Besides her parents; Russell and Helen, Rosalie was preceded in death by her life partner; Sara Stewart and a brother; Roy Petty.
