Beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away peacefully on Friday, May 27, 2023 at Covenant Healthcare, Saginaw. He was 97 years old. Albert Geese was born July 8, 1925 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Carl Geese and Matilda Scherzer. He married Ruby Burbank on April 5, 1951, and together they celebrated 68 wonderful years together. She preceded him in death on August 4, 2019.
Albert loved people and always had a smile, friendly “Hello” and kind words to share. He enjoyed golfing and bowling and doing jigsaw puzzles. His biggest joy in life was spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Albert was a veteran of WWII having served in the Army as an infantryman earning a Bronze Star.
Albert will be fondly remembered by his sons, Donald (Diane) Geese of Holland and David (Penny) Geese of Harrison and daughter, Susan Macaulay of Saginaw; grandchildren: Nichole (Adam) Latham of Grand Rapids, Elizabeth Geese of Royal Oak and Matthew Kerry (Alexander) Macaulay of Bronx, NY, many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Albert was preceded in death by his: wife Ruby Geese, son-in-law, Kerry Macaulay; 3 brothers and one sister.

FUNERAL: A committal service for Albert will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 5, 2023 at Oakwood Mausoleum, 5950 Gratiot Road, Saginaw, MI 48638. Family and friends are welcome to visit at the mausoleum on Monday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. Lay Minister, Louis Hodges will officiate.
