My dear cousin, Helen, You were so kind to write letters to my mother, Elosia for the longest time. She enjoyed always hearing from you. Mom shared memories of the time she traveled to Saginaw as a teenager to help your mother take care of the children (you, Kathy, and Ralph). I see how much you and she enjoyed doing some of the same things. Sewing and crocheting. Even working at the Fort Saginaw Mall, I imagine the two of you seeing each other there since Mom also worked there in retail, Federals for a time. My earliest memory of you was when Benny would bring you over to our house to visit. I was shy around Benny but never with you. You were always a loving and wonderful cousin. Soft spoken and encouraging. You had the sweetest laugh which reminded me of Mom. As I was one of the youngest of my parents, I only see photos of the of your youth. Riding on the float with Sheila and Hilda as little girls in your court. Your wedding to Benny. Family parties. Many wonderful moments through the years. Q: How did you meet Elizabeth? A: I met her Mrs.Jimenez through her daughter Lisa. She was always nice and pray for the family for peace and strength during this difficult time.
