Our dear brother, uncle and friend passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, April 3, 2023. He was 66 years old. Jay Scott Worrall was born on November 26, 1956 in Saginaw to the late Sue Eleanor (Hurst) and Joseph Ronald Worrall. Jay graduated from Eisenhower High School. He proudly served his country with the United States Air Force for eight years. Following his honorable discharge, Scott worked for MBS Airport, servicing airplanes until his retirement in 2018.
Scott was a loving and thoughtful brother, son and uncle. He will be dearly missed by his brother: Joseph Ronald Worrall of Arizona; his sister, Jennifer (Chris) Schaening of Washington; nieces and nephew: Debra (Brady) Stein, Tina Worrall, Haley Blue Schaening, Hannah Schaening and Liam Worrall Schaening; and step-mom, Mary Worrall.
Scott was preceded in death by his father, Joseph R. Worrall and mother, Sue E. Vaughan.
SERVICE: In keeping with Scott's wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly, Michigan 48442. Military honors under the auspices of the United States Air Force will begin the service and Scott's family will conclude with sharing memories.
