Served with Gus on the Saginaw Township Parks and Recreation Commission back in the early 1990s. Top notch guy and someone I always enjoyed talking with, especially about his love of baseball and a visit he took to the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown with a youth team he coached.

Gus was the keeper of our neighborhood. We really loved talking with him as he sat outside and always had wonderful words of wisdom. His smile and laugh would light up a room. He will be forever in our hearts and prayers as well as for all of you. Prayers and hugs. Love the KRIEGER's

Sandy and family, I’m so sorry to hear about Gus. In my 45 years at the bank I never knew a more dedicated employee and I always appreciated his honesty and advice.
