Obituary

Podojak, Todd Douglas, age 59 passed away March 29, 2023 at his home with family by his side. Todd was born June 8, 1963 in Saginaw, Michigan, the son of Joseph and Lila (Jesse) Podojak. He was united in marriage to the former Tranna “Tammy” Bennett on July 8, 1983 in Saginaw, MI; she survives him. Todd attended Buena Vista High School. He worked and retired from Waste Management after several dedicated years of service. He enjoyed model cars, drag racing and classic cars; especially Mopar's and rock and roll music. Todd enjoyed cooking and barbequing; especially getting together with family and friends. He took great pride in maintaining his yard. Todd loved his special feline companion, Tucker. He also enjoyed antiquing with Tammy. Todd was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Todd is survived by his wife, Tammy; two children, Brent and Blake (Vanessa Kurtenbach) Podojak; brother, Joseph (Amanda) Podojak; two sisters, Lisa Chacon and Melissa (Rick) Gomez; a special godson, Joseph “JJ” Podojak; best friend and cousin, John Scott, nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Todd was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Tina (Pete) Rivera and great friend Floyd Miller.

FUNERAL: Funeral services for Todd will take place Tuesday, April 4, 2023 @ 5:00 p.m. from Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd, (off State) with George Drain to officiate. Cremation to follow the service and final committal services to conclude down in Great Lakes National Cemetery later this summer.

VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at the funeral home, Tuesday, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
