Passed away peacefully on Sunday evening, January 29, 2023 at Medilodge of Frankenmuth. He was 68 years old. Daniel Thomas Kingry was born on August 18, 2022 in Saginaw, Michigan to Thomas and Gail (Foley) Kingry. He married Sharon Zaggy on September 1, 1995 in Saginaw, Michigan. Dan graduated from St. Stephen's High School in 1972 and continued his education at Delta College. He was employed by Consumers Energy at the Karn Weadock Plant as a heavy equipment operator, retiring in 2018 after 25 years of service.
Dan was a friendly guy with an infectious smile who enjoyed snow skiing, fishing, grilling, and watching the Lions.
Surviving are his wife, Sharon Kingry; two children, Kelli (Brian) Goulet, Anthony (Renee) Kingry; three grandchildren, Grace, Abbey, and Olivia Goulet; two stepchildren, Alison (Bobby Strasz) and Brandon Kenel; father, Thomas E. (Judi) Kingry; two brothers, Tom Kingry and Kevin (Debbie) Kingry; half-brother, Joseph (Shannon) Kingry and many nieces and nephews.
Daniel was preceded in death by his mother, Gail Ebach.
Special thanks to the staff at Medilodge of Frankenmuth, who treated Dan like family.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: In keeping with Daniel's wishes, cremation has already taken place. A Memorial Service will take place at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Sharon Wahl will officiate.
VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Saturday, February 11, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
MEMORIALS: Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Amazing Grace Animal Rescue.
