LaRose, Virginia E. (nee, Morin)

Formerly of Bay City, Michigan

Virginia E. LaRose passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 8, 2023.

She is survived by her two daughters: Elaine M. (Traci Rossi) LaRose-Rossi of Palmyra, PA and Danielle L. LaRose of Cherry Hill, NJ; a grandson, Andrew Joseph Rossi; her four older brothers: Wil, Jerry, Ron, and Jim Morin; and her younger sister, Sue (Morin) Lind; sisters-in-law: Kathie Parks, Martie LaRose and Terri LaRose; also surviving are many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul J. LaRose; father and mother, Wilfred and Nellie (Pitcher) Morin.

FUNERAL: A Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 16, 2023 at St. Dominic Parish, St. Stephen Catholic Church, 1310 Malzahn. Rev. Fr. Steve Gavit will officiate. Rite of Committal will follow in St. Andrew Cemetery. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date for family and friends in New Jersey.

VISITATION: Family and friends are welcome to visit with the family at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m.

MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to The American Cancer Society or to The Girl Scouts of the USA.

I worked with Virginia for many years. We attended the CPR classes together. Also, Virgina organized craft shows. Craft shows were fun days for all the participants with lots of homemade goodies. Virginia made scarfs, hats, blankets, and you name it. Virginia always looked towards the positive. She had great faith and embodied the Holman Culture. Personally, I will miss Virginia greatly, as I'm sure most of us from Holman will, along with her loving family. So sorry for your loss. Prayers to all Virginia's family and friends.

I work at Holman/ARI and I was very saddened to hear of Virginia's passing. She was always a staple at our craft shows and she knitted/crocheted the cutest little animals and beautiful blankets and scarves. And she was just the nicest person. Heaven gained an angel.
