Passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Covenant HealthCare in Saginaw. She was 81 years old. Carol Marie Hansen was born on January 23, 1941 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to the late Emil and Elizabeth (Koeneman) Hansen. Carol attended Michigan State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree. She was employed by Covenant HealthCare as a Medical Technologist, retiring after 40 years of service. Carol was a faithful member of Peace Lutheran Church in Saginaw.
She loved spending time with her friends and participating in many 5k walks for different charities. After retirement Carol enjoyed volunteering for the Public Libraries of Saginaw. She was a lover of animals and loved spending time with her fur babies, Whiskers, Fluffy, Mouse, and Sneakers.
Surviving are one brother, James Hansen and her close friend, Martha McLeod.
In keeping with Carol's wishes, cremation has taken place. Carol's family is planning to hold a memorial service at a later date, please check back for updated information.
