Obituary
Kreager, Joy
Saginaw, Michigan
Passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, October 11, 2022. Known for her sense of humor and endless jokes, Joy definitely lived up to her name. Born on May 8, 1959 in Saginaw, Michigan to Wayne and Lois Kreager. She was a graduate of Carrollton High School and went on to work several jobs, including the Pony Express, Hank's Flowerland, Luther Manor, and many years working with her family at Lois Kay Contracting. Beyond making people laugh, Joy's passions in life included rescuing dogs, her vast collection of frogs, and watching her beloved Detroit Tigers. Always “Daddy's Girl,” she is now reunited with her father, Wayne Kreager, who preceded her in death. Her mother, Lois Kreager survives her, as well as her children: Kyle Kreager and Kayla Dufresne, and her constant companion, Lucky Dog. Joy also leaves behind her siblings: Tim (Linda) Kreager, Mark (Jeanine) Kreager, Beth (Ric) Humpert and Lynne Parker; her three granddaughters: Bertha, Sophia, and Tessa; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and an endless list of dear friends who meant the world to her.
