Loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away with his family by his side on Sunday morning, September 18, 2022 at his residence. He was 84 years old. Thomas Linwood Kramer was born on May 5, 1938 in Unionville, Michigan to the late Henry and Frances (Haag-Ackerman) Kramer. He grew up in Unionville, graduated from Unionville High School, and served the community as a volunteer firefighter. Tom attended trade school for product design engineering. Tom was employed by General Motors as a Product Design Engineer, retiring in 1992 after 29 years of service. Together with his wife Renee, he lived in Naples, Florida and spent the summers in the house he built on Old Mission Peninsula in Traverse City, Michigan. He married Renee LaJeunesse-Tomandl on May 5, 1989 at Resurrection Lutheran Church in Saginaw.

Tom had a passion for adventure, traveling, and photography. He enjoyed playing golf, running in marathons, and collecting vintage cameras and classic cars. But, what Tom really loved most was spending time with his family.

Surviving are his wife of 33 years, Renee Kramer; children, Judith Price, Daniel (Belen) Kramer, Jill (Brent Rogers) Tomandl, Darrell (Michelle) Tomandl; grandchildren, Tiffani (Schuyler) Long, Valentino and Benjamin Tomandl; one great-grandchild, London Coleman; sister in-law, Shirley Kramer and many nieces and nephews.

Tom was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Thomas Kramer, one brother; Bill Kramer; two sisters, Jean (Bill) Radka and Donna (Jim) Preuter.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: A Memorial Service will take place at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 25, 2022 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State).

VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Sunday, September 25, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m.

MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Parkinson's Foundation or the Peninsula Township Fire Department, 14247 Center Road, Traverse City, MI 49686.
