Loving father, grandfather and brother passed away on Sunday morning, October 2, 2022 at HealthSource Saginaw. He was 88 years old. Thomas Donald Reinke was born on September 19, 1934 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Norman and Ruth (Catterfeld) Reinke. He married the love of his life, Karen Lee Vance on January 31, 1959 in Saginaw, Michigan. She preceded him in death on February 24, 2021. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and the National Guard. Thomas was employed by General Motors as a Machinist, retiring after 35 years of service. He was a faithful member of Peace Lutheran Church in Saginaw for many years.

Thomas loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, hiking and fishing. He also enjoyed going for leisurely drives in the country. But, what Thomas really loved most was spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving are his children, Donald (Mandy) Reinke, Jim (Michele) Reinke and Steven (Susan) Reinke; grandchildren, Aaron, Alex, Libby and Lucy; three brothers, Norman Reinke, Ralph Reinke and Charles Reinke, and many nieces and nephews.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: A Memorial Service will take place for Thomas and Karen at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Peace Lutheran Church, 3427 Adams Street, Saginaw, MI 48602. Rev. Henry Pahlkotter will officiate.

VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at Peace Lutheran Church, 3427 Adams Street, Saginaw, MI 48602 on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.

MEMORIALS: Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Peace Lutheran Church.
