John Zuniga

Zuñiga, JohnDearborn, MichiganFormerly of Saginaw Passed away on Thursday morning, April 21, 2022 at Beaumont Hospital in Dearborn, he was 99 years old. John Zuñiga was born on February 14, 1923 in Dallas, Texas to the late Silviano and Eulalia Zuñiga. He married Pauline Paramo on May 31, 1952 in Saginaw, Michigan. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. John was employed by General Electric as an electrical engineer, retiring after 25+ years of service. He was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Saginaw for many years before beginning his career with General Electric.John loved more than anything his family; in particular his 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. But the love of his live was his wife, Pauline. This year would have marked their 70th anniversary. He also enjoyed getting to know different parts of the United States as his job took him to many different cities during his career.Surviving are his loving wife, Pauline Zuniga; children, John and Mark; grandchildren, Daniel Zuñiga, Amanda Zuñiga Baskett, Alex Zuñiga, Gabbe Zuñiga Beauchamp, Petra Abbey Zuñiga, and Gabriel Silviano Zuñiga ; great-grandchildren, Sophia Zuñiga, Ella Zuñiga, Ethan Baskett, Sienna Baskett, Oliver Baskett, and McRae Beauchamp; and his lone remaining sibling Eddie Zuñiga, and many nieces and nephews.FUNERAL SERVICE: A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Road. Rev. Fr. Robert Byrne will officiate. Committal service to follow at Mt.
