Leeman, JoAnn MarieSaginaw, MichiganBeloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Friday evening, June 3, 2022 at her residence. She was 89 years old. JoAnn Marie Lockwood was born on March 13, 1933 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Lloyd and Mary (Schmelzer) Lockwood. She was a business owner and entrepreneur, she worked as a hairstylist in her own salon, Talk O' the Town for over 50 years. JoAnn was a lover of animals and cherished the time she spent with her dogs, Lindy Lou, Lazer and Lilly. She never met a stranger and was loved by all that knew her.JoAnn loved many things including dancing, bowling, golfing, skiing, fencing, and water skiing. She was a lifelong learner and loved learning new things all the time. JoAnn also enjoyed going on summer camping trips. But, above all JoAnn loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.Surviving are her children, Melissa (Daniel) Snapp, Scott (Marcine Moore) Pomerville, Andrae (Joe Kelley) Pringle and Debbie (Chris) Chambers; 7 grandchildren, Joshua Nowaczyk, Jessica (Beau) Hensen, Sara (Brian) Tinger, Christian Chambers, Crystal Nowaczyk, Kailey (RJ) Pringle and Dylan (Jessica) Pringle; 8 great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Kaizer, Easton, Greyson, Rowen, Aubrey, Maddock and Everleigh.JoAnn was preceded in death by her brother, Lloyd J. Lockwood and her lifelong friend, JoAnne Alcock.FUNERAL SERVICE: A Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Road (off State). Pastor Brenda Nolish will officiate. Entombment will follow at St. Andrew Mausoleum. VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd.
