LaTarte, Virginia “Ginny”Carrollton Twp., MichiganVirginia LaTarte of Carrollton Twp., passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was 73 years old. Virginia Grace Pollen was born on March 14, 1949 in Carrollton Twp., Michigan to the late Andrew and Ruth (Dice) Pollen. She married Michael S. “Mickey” LaTarte on September 24, 1966. He preceded her in death on January 18, 2018. Ginny was a devoted mother and grandmother, and her selfless love for them will forever be cherished by her family. She loved to feed the birds, spend time in her garden and enjoyed a good cup of coffee.Virginia is survived by her two daughters and one son: Lori Graves, Rhonda (Steve) Dupuis, Greg (Bonnie) La Tarte; ten grandchildren: Jenny, Phillip, Jeffrey, Courtney, Hallie, Robert, Jessica, Kira, Mariah and Savannah; four great-grandchildren: Logan, Ethan, Aiden and Connor; brother, Roy (Carol) Pollen; many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Mickey, and son, Jeffrey M. LaTarte.Per Virginia's request, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the St. Jude Children's Research Foundation.
