Young, Roger Warren of Saginaw, Michigan passed away on March 21, 2022 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit Michigan. He was 70 years old. Roger was born on July 21, 1951 to the late Edna and George Young in Detroit Michigan. He married Karen McGraw on May 15, 1982 at Addison Oak in Oxford Michigan; she survives him.Roger enjoyed watching movies and gardening. He also loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Roger will be remembered for his sense of humor and wonderful story telling. Nicked named “King Roger,” he was the favorite uncle and loved by all who knew him.Left to cherish his memory besides his wife Karen are three children: Brandon Young, Brittney Young and Braigan Young; two grandchildren: Charlotte (Charlee) Wright and Logan Young; three sisters Georgette Fawcett, Sandy Hackney and Tracy Glime ; one brother-in-law, Bryan (Cindy) McGraw; one sister-in-law, Marianne (Mike) Bertrand and numerous nieces and nephews.Roger was predeceased by his parents and one brother, George YoungFUNERAL: A Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at the Deisler Funeral Home. Pastor Rob Schmidt to officiate. Entombment will follow in St. Andrew's Mausoleum.VISITATION: Friend are welcome to visit at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Karen and Family. I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I only knew Roger briefly, but in that short time I was able to learn much about his love for his family especially his grandchildren. It was an honor to take part in his life, he was a very kind soul.
