Kinsman, Doris L. (Landwehr)Saginaw, MichiganLoving mother and grandmother passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Ascension St. Mary's in Saginaw, she was 92 years old.Doris was a prolific reader, who enjoyed cutting up the dance floor at weddings, building epic family photo albums, and sharing her notable “Dori-isms”. She was a faithful and founding member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church for many years. Daughter of the late William and Leona Landwehr, Doris was born August 11, 1929 in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. She was a dear sister to her siblings, including Gerald Landwehr and Jeanette Sherman, who predeceased her, and her surviving siblings: Donald Landwehr, Shirley Reed, Ruth (Del) Smolinski, and Judi Pawloski. She married H. Richard “Dick” Kinsman on June 25, 1948, who preceded her in death. Doris and Dick had six sons and two daughters: Ronald (Bethany) Kinsman, Constance (James) Eller, the late Michael (Trisha) Kinsman, the late William “Liam” (Kathy) Kinsman, Theresa (Anthony) Ioppolo, Thomas (Martha) Kinsman, John (Krysten) Kinsman, and Jeffrey Kinsman. Doris cherished her family above all else and was always overjoyed to chat about her 17 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren, along with her many nieces, nephews, and cousins. SERVICE: In keeping with Doris' wishes, cremation has taken place. Fr. Robert Gohm will officiate the Funeral Liturgy at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 6400 McCarty Road on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 11:00 am. Family and friends are invited to gather together from 10:00 am until the Liturgy begins at 11:00 am.A Celebration of Doris` Life will take place in the Spring or Summer of 2022, please check back for updates.MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to either St. John Vianney Parish, Saginaw, MI or Sacred Heart Parish, Mt.
