Rosas, Maria IreneSaginaw, MichiganLoving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away with her family by her side on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at her residence. She was 71 years old. Maria Irene Hernandez was born November 11, 1950 in San Antonio, Texas to the late Lupe and Felisita (Garza) Hernandez. She married Lupe Rosas on November 19, 1966 in Defiance, Ohio. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi for many years.Maria loved shooting pool and taking trips to Las Vegas to visit the casino. She also enjoyed the outdoors, camping, and growing beautiful flowers. Maria will be remembered as a wonderful cook, making many delicious meals. She loved watching the birds, especially the Cardinals that would frequent her many bird feeders. Maria cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.Surviving are her husband, Lupe Rosas; children, Ida (Nicholas) Thompson, Ernestina (Richard Benavides) Rosas and Guadalupe (Adelina) Rosas Jr.; grandchildren, Dunte Ray, Brittany Rosas, Brandon Rosas, Adaria Wilson, Vanessa Rosas, Erik Rosas, Stephanie Rosas, Nevaeh Benavides, Carlos Lupe Benavides, Ralph Rosas, Jennifer Rosas, Guadalupe Rosas III, Latoya Pena, Juan Rosas, Colorgio Rosas, Aaliyah Rosas, Maria Irene Rosas, Sierrha Rosas, Dominique Banda, Amiyah, Mikaiyla and Honey Rosas; loved by many great-grandchildren; siblings, Yolanda Uribes and Alex (Sophia) Hernandez and many nieces, nephews, her APA Pool family and a lot of special friends.Maria was preceded in death by her granddaughters, Angel Benavides, Eva Rosas; siblings; Lupe Hernandez, Blas Hernandez, Armando Hernandez, Glenney Hernandez, Betty Sanchez and Linda Mata.The Rosas family would like to thank Covenant HealthCare and Covenant VNA Hospice for the wonderful care they provided to Maria in her time of need.FUNERAL SERVICE: A Funeral Service will take place at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Pastors Julian and Ava Gonzales will officiate. VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd.
