Mary Foley

Foley, Mary Ann Saginaw, Michigan Loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister passed away on January 3, 2022 at her residence, she was 81 years old. Mary Ann Rogalski was born on April 23, 1940 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Benjamin and Theresa (Franek) Rogalski. She married Patrick Joseph Foley on November 22, 1958 at Holy Rosary Church in Saginaw. Mary Ann was employed by Sears and retired as a sales clerk. She was a member of St. John Paul II – St. Josaphat Church in Carrollton for many years. Mary Ann loved going to church and enjoyed going lunch, and antiquing with her sisters as well as taking trips to the thrift store. Mary Ann was known for keeping a tidy house. But, what Mary Ann really loved most was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Surviving are her husband, Patrick Joseph Foley; children, Colleen (Ray) Wachowski, John (Vickie) Foley, Dan (Renee) Foley, Edward (Kayla) Foley, Bridget Schultz, and Frances Hart; eighteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sally Meyette and Geraldine (Leonard) Markusic, and many nieces and nephews. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her son, Patrick Michael Foley; great-granddaughter, Alanna; brothers and sisters in-law, Patsy (Leo) Novak, Leo (Daphne) Foley, and John (Lillie Mae) Foley, Robert Meyette, and aunt, Helen Piotrowski. FUNERAL SERVICE: A Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 8, 2022 at St. John Paul II – St. Josaphat Church, 469 Shattuck Rd. Rev. Fr. William J. Rutkowski will officiate. VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at St. John Paul II – St. Josaphat Church, 469 Shattuck Rd. on Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
