The main thing that I remember of my aunt Nene (Irene) is that she was a very attentive mother. She loved her family. She was a very kind hearted woman. She had a smile for everyone! My memories of my Aunt Nene was coming over to visit and she was always in the kitchen rolling out tortillas. She was always providing for her family with care and comfort. She always attended the family reunions and other family events; happy and sad. Her presence was memorable and thanks to her children who made this possible! Mrs. Vargas was my friend and past co-workers mother, Dina Vargas. We worked together at Maccabe Gardens Nursing & Rehabilitation Home. I goung to her house and Mr. & Mrs. Vargas always greeted me with a smile. Same when my husband Mark would go over to help fix Dina's car and Mrs. Vargas would ask if he needed something to drink, very friendly lady. I am sure she will be missed.. God has a special beautiful place for Mrs. Vargas for all of her good & faithful deeds. Prayers to the family & peace be still..
