ROTH, Michael B. “Mike” Pinconning, Michigan formerly of Saginaw Our loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and dear friend passed away peacefully at his son's home on Saturday, December 11, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He was 69 years old. Michael B. Roth was born on December 20, 1951 in Saginaw to the late Edward A. and Hilda M. (Scully) Roth. Michael proudly served his country during the Vietnam War with the United States Marines. Following his service with the military, Mike returned to Saginaw and worked for General Motors for over 30 years of dedicated service. Mike was a member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and working on projects in his garage and farm. Above all, Mike treasured and cherished his family. Left to cherish his memory are his children: Lisa (John) Wojnar; Travis (Jennifer) Roth and Aaron Roth; grandchildren: Sierra, Savannah, Caleb, Ethan, Makayla, Zander, Asher, Macen and Evie; brother: Edward (Helen) Roth; sister-in-law, Judy A. Roth. Mike was preceded in death by his parents; grandson: Talyn Hecht; two sisters: Karen Mallak and Connie Emerson; and brother, Kim W. Roth. FUNERAL: A Funeral Service will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 3424 Crestmont Drive. Pastor Michael Wilke will officiate. Military Honors under the auspices of the United States Marines and American Legion Post #22 and committal prayers will follow the funeral service at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. VISITATION: Family and friends are welcome to visit at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd., Saginaw, MI 48603 on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.; visitation will continue at church on Thursday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Gethsemane Lutheran Church or VNA Covenant Hospitce.
