Tyrone Thomas

Thomas, Tyrone Saginaw, Michigan Beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle passed away on Friday morning, December 3, 2021 at Samaritas Senior Living of Saginaw, he was 68 years old. Tyrone Thomas was born on April 20, 1953 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Booker and Dorothy (Shephard) Thomas. Tyrone was employed by General Motors, retiring in 1998 after 25 years of service. Tyrone loved fishing and partying with his friends. He also enjoyed watching movies and sports, especially boxing. Above all, he loved spending time with his family. Surviving are his children, Tiffany Hamilton, Corey (Ruz) Porter, Latoya Taylor, Tasha Cooper, Ciji Youngblood, and Tyrell (Tiffany) Thomas; many grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; siblings, Cloddie Johnson, Booker T. Thomas Jr., Brenda Thomas; special niece, Rhonda (Edgar) Frank, God sister, Alicia Caffey and many nieces and nephews. Tyrone was preceded in death by his son, Tyrone Hamilton Jr. FUNERAL SERVICE: A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd (off State). Committal service to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Monday, December 13, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the wishes of the family c/o Brenda Thomas.
