Sharon Grames

Grames, Sharon Kay Saginaw, Michigan Our beloved wife, mother, aunt and dear friend passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Covenant HealthCare – Harrison. She was 76 years old. Sharon Kay Gotts was born October 7, 1945 in Saginaw to the late Clinton James and Gladys Leone (Ware) Gotts. She graduated from Saginaw High School. Sharon worked locally in Saginaw at the YMCA and then Webber Elementary for over 35 years where she loved to feed all of the students. Sharon met the love of her life, Donald E. Grames, while working at the school. They were married on November 5, 1983. Sharon and Don loved to travel, enjoying many trips to Tennessee visiting the Smokey Mountains. She was a faithful member of Old Town Christian Outreach. Her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren brought much joy and happiness to her life. Sharon is survived by her husband, Donald; children, Larry Allen (Romona) Sullivan and Tracy (Christopher) Rainey; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; a dear friend, Jean Stine; many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Patricia Bierlein and Carol Faupel. Sharon's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Covenant Healthcare-Harrison and DaVita Dialysis Center for the care and compassion that has been given to Sharon. FUNERAL: A funeral service for Sharon will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State), Saginaw,MI 48603. Pastor Don Dinninger will officiate. Cremation will follow the funeral service. VISITATION: Family and friends are welcome to gather at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
