Patricia Dupuis

Dupuis, Patricia “Pat” Louise age 77 passed away Friday afternoon at Covenant Heathcare-Harrison with her family by her side. Pat was born on November 12, 1943 in Flint, Michigan the daughter of Roy and Catherine (McFarland) Ostrom. She was united in marriage to Richard Dupuis on January 19, 1963 in Saginaw, Michigan; he preceded her in death on June 8, 1992. Pat retired from the Carrollton Public Schools after 37 years.She loved working with the kids and touched many lives. Pat enjoyed staying busy taking on another job with Beltone Hearing. Pat especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the apples of her eyes; always willing to share their pictures. Pat was extremely thoughtful and generous and would go above and beyond for anyone she met. Pat is survived by her children; Theresa (Pat) Boensch and Pat (Karen) Dupuis, eight grandchildren; Joseph (Abby), Zachary (Cassandra), Catherine, Doug, Jacob, Katy, Nicole (Hardy) and Fabienne (Thomas), three great-grandchildren; Mia, Henry and Norah (due in January), sister; Alma Jean (Charles) Neurohr, close friends of the family; Nancy Woodington and family, Scott and Kathy Langhorne and family as well as many dear friends, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband Richard, Pat was preceded in death by a brother and sister; Robert Ostrom and Karen Owens. FUNERAL: A Funeral Mass will take place Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at 11:00 AM from St. John Paul II Catholic Church (St. Josaphat site), 469 Shattuck Rd. Saginaw with Rev. Fr. William J. Rutkowski to officiate. VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 5:00-8:00 PM and again at the church Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of service. MEMORIALS: In Lieu of flowers, those planning a memorial contribution are asked to consider the Carrollton Athletic Association.
