Lauri Armstrong

Armstrong, Lauri Lynn Saginaw, Michigan Loving wife, mother, grandmother, and daughter passed away on Tuesday evening, August 4, 2021 at her residence. She was 55 years old. Lauri Lynn Meloy was born on September 16, 1965 in Akron, Ohio to Dennis Meloy and Joy Claybourne. She married Stacy Armstrong on August 3, 1984 in Holiday, Florida. Lauri was employed as a pension specialist, retiring in 2011. She loved traveling. Lauri also enjoyed gardening. She was a lover of animals and together with her husband, Stacy and her daughter, Sarah; they have rescued many dogs and cats over the years. But, what she really loved most was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Surviving are her loving husband of 37 years, Stacey Armstrong; children, Marcus Armstrong and Sarah (Joshua Blackthorne) Armstrong; grandchildren, Oliver Armstrong and Vayda Armstrong; father, Dennis Meloy; sister, Christine “Chrissy” Bylock; Suan Tan and extended family. Lauri was preceded in death by her son, AJ Armstrong and her mother, Joy Claybourne. In keeping with Lauri's wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services planned at this time.
