Marilyn Sylvester

Sylvester, Marilyn Jean of Saginaw, Michigan passed away unexpectedly Monday, July 19, 2021 at Lutheran Home of Michigan-Frankenmuth at the age of 84 years. Marilyn was born September 25, 1936 in Saginaw the daughter of the late Alfred and Gertrude Bohnoff. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School. Marilyn was united in marriage to Charles Sylvester on February 14, 1960; he preceded her in death on May 11, 1979. She enjoyed puzzles, word searches and spending time with her family. Marilyn was known for her attention to details; she made notes and wrote everything down to make sure she didn't forget anything. Marilyn was a very caring, thoughtful and loving. She will be dearly missed. Marilyn is survived by her five children; Charles Sylvester, Jr., Donald (Linda) Sylvester, Lori Enter, Charlene (Michael) Preuss and Marlene Sylvester, ten grandchildren; Jon, Joel, Nicole, Melissa, Jessica, Jennifer, Melanie, Christopher, Alyssa and Elizabeth, several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband Charles, Marilyn was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Kilburn. FUNERAL: Funeral Services for Marilyn will take place Friday, July 23, 2021 at 11:00 AM from Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) with Chaplain Ken Streeter to officiate. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit the Sylvester family at the Deisler Funeral Home, Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again Friday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
