Doris Allen

Allen, Doris J. Saginaw Township Loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Covenant Healthcare in Saginaw. She was 80 years old. Doris Jean Allen was born on April 15, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late James and Anna Allen. Doris was employed as an insurance broker for many years, she then became the property manager for Ivy Hill Condominiums, retiring in 2021 after over decade of service. Doris liked reading and gardening. She was a lover of animals and adored her cats. Doris loved her family very much and enjoyed spending time with them, especially with her grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Joseph (Jennifer) Krouse and Beth (Jim) Hartley; son in-law, Steven Green; grandchildren, Chad (Glenna), Cayhleen, Conner, Logan, Garett, Katelyn, Elise, Alyssa, Emily, Anita, and Austin; great-grandchildren, Liam, Adelaide, Jameson, and Carter; sister, Myrna Small, and many nieces and nephews. Doris was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharen Green; brother in-law, Gene Small, and her brother Bill Allen. CELEBRATION OF LIFE: Family and Friends will gather at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Thursday, June 10, 2021 with visiting hours from 11:00 a.m. until the time of sharing at 1:00 p.m. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the wishes of the family c/o Beth Hartley.
